So my boyfriend occasionally shocks me with his cooking skills that seem to gust come out of nowhere with a few killer dishes that he’s done before.
This particular recipe is one he made that just knocked my socks off. I had the challenge of making sandwiches, cookies and mini pizzas and he really wanted to do something so we went with potato wedges. I cannot lie, I didn’t expect very much but boy was I blow away!
I hope you will too when you give this recipe a go!
Let’s get cooking.
Ingredients
The Wedges
6 medium potatoes cut into 4 quarters; no need to peel the potatoes
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Water to boil
Oil for deep frying
The Coating
3 tbsp flour
2 tsp aromat
2 tsp Portuguese chicken spice
2 tsp chicken spice
Water to make a thick paste
Directions
Boil the potatoes for 12-15 minutes. Be careful not to over cook as they will fall apart when frying.
Drain and set aside.
Place a pan with oil on the stove on medium-high heat.
Mix all ingredients required for the coating and coat wedges one at a time.
Fry wedges until golden brown. Be very careful not to overfill the pan as this will increase frying time and may produce soggy wedges.
Enjoy!

I hope you will try these wedges because they are simply divine.
